Dental Braces - Types of Braces
Serving Downtown Denver and Stapleton, Colorado
Rather than the traditional braces you may already be familiar with, Advanced Orthodontic Care offers several other options that may be right for you and your busy lifestyle.
Clear – Clear braces are nearly invisible, though they are worn just as traditional braces are. Because the brackets are clear or matched to the natural color of your teeth, only the wire is obvious to others looking at you. They are also much more comfortable than traditional braces.
Invisalign – Rather than wearing brackets and wires, Invisalign are custom-made clear, plastic aligners worn on your teeth much like a mouth guard. One of the biggest benefits of wearing Invisalign aligners is that you can remove them for meals or when you go out for special occasions. You may also avoid the need to see Dr. Rudman as much since you can pick up a new set of aligners at the office and be back out the door to work or school.
iBraces – Many people prefer their braces to be completely unnoticed by friends and peers. For those who need braces, but are extremely self-conscious about wearing them, iBraces may be the option for you. iBraces, or invisible braces, are worn on the inside of the teeth. Minimal discomfort and fewer wire adjustments have made these braces the only custom-made invisible fixed braces on the market today. Also, those who play wind instruments or are involved in sports will find the iBrace option beneficial.
Synergy R – One of the latest technologies Dr. Rudman uses in his practice is the SWLF Synergy R bracket system. Synergy R means more efficient use of time and materials, and a more effective bracket system for the patient. Synergy R has faster arch wire changes, are self-ligating, no moving parts that may break, use light force and are low friction. This means our patients’ visits are shorter and the level of discomfort is minimized. Patients have their choice of colors, too, for an individual flair.
